Brown opens showroom in Vavuniya

In a gesture that strengthens the peace process Brown & Company recently opened a showroom in Vavuniya, ensuring that the customers in the Vanni district can now purchase high quality electric goods in their home town.

The new showroom will store all international brands, recognised globally for their quality such as Sharp, Makita, Moulinex, Sumeet, Elba, Cornell, Massey Furguson Tractors, Olimpus Cameras, brands that are represented in Sri Lanka by Brown & Company.

The customers in Vavuniya and rest of the Northern Province can now purchase their electric items, tractors etc. in the North itself, without having to incur the inconvenience of travelling to other parts of the country for their requirements. The Browns showroom in Vavuniya is located at No. 8, 1st Cross Street, Vavuniya, within easy reach of everyone.

The showroom was declared open by Director Marketing Brown & Co. Lasantha Perera, Managing Director Monty Candappa, Roshani Cooray - Director Business Development & Operations, Lasantha Wickramasooriya - Director Agriculture, Rohan Gunatilleke - AGM Consumer Electronics, Ravi Fernandopulle - AGM Service, Channa Pathirana - Marketing Manager, Milinda Wanigasekara - Area Manager, Kapila de Silva - Product Manager (Hardware), T. Udayadasan - Branch Manager Vauniya also graced the occasion. The showroom opened its doors to the public on 28th of February, 2002.

According to Brown & Company sources, products can be purchased from the Browns Showroom through the "Uda Tharuwa" easy payment scheme offered by Hatton National Bank. They further confirm that special discounts, surprise gifts and free give aways await the Vanni customers.
