Cabinet of Ministers expanded

The Daily News reliably learns that the Cabinet of Ministers will be expanded shortly with the following seven Non-Cabinet Ministers being promoted to Cabinet rank.

They are: Mahinda Samarasinghe, Imtiaz Bakeer Markar, Dr. Karunasena Kodituwakku, P. Chandrasekeran, Dr. Rajitha Senaratne, Ravi Karunanayake and Milinda Moragoda.

The new Cabinet Ministers are expected to be sworn in before President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga today or tomorrow.
