SLMC to go it alone Sri Lanka Muslim Congress, a key partner of the United National Front will go it alone at the Colombo Municipal Council(CMC) at the Local Government Polls, SLMC Colombo District leader A.J.M. Muzammil said yesterday. The decision was taken after consultations and consensus with the UNP. We hope to gain more seats in the CMC, he said. The SLMC expects at least ten seats in the CMC, he added. |
