The
Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, Sri Lanka intends to
pre-qualify suppliers for the supply of following chemical
fertilizer for Govt. owned fertilizer companies under it for the
period 1.3.2002 to 31.12.2003.
1) Urea
2) Sulphate
of Ammonia
3) Muriate
of Potash
4) Triple
Super Phosphate
5) Ground
Rock Phosphate
6) Kieserite
7) Diammonium
Phosphate
8) Zinc
Sulphate
9) Commercial
Epsom Salt
10) Sulphate of Potash
11) Micro-nutrient
Fertilizer
Pre-qualification
is open to suppliers/firms which have previous experience in such
supplies and necessary financial capabilities.
Applicants
may obtain/inspect pre-qualification documents available at the
Tender Division, Ministry of
Agriculture and Livestock, Govijana Mandiraya, 80/5, Rajamalwatte

A
complete set of the pre-qualification tender document may be
purchased by any interested applicant from the above address upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1500/= on any working day
between 9.30 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. This payment should be made to the
Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the receipt should be
produced at the Tender Division of the Ministry to obtain the
application form.
All
applications for pre-qualification should be in sealed envelopes
addressed to above address and clearly marked on the top left hand
corner, “Application for Pre-qualification of Fertilizer
Suppliers”. Applications should either be delivered by hand or
by registered post at or
before 3.30 p.m. local time on 18.03.2002 to the Tender
Division, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, 80/5, Rajamalwatta
Avenue, Battaramulla, Sri Lanka.
Ministry
of Agriculture and Livestock reservers the right to accept or reject
any application after scrutiny. Selected applicants will be informed
in due course.
