Johnson & Johnson Named Number One Unlisted Brand in Sri LankaJohnson & Johnson, a company with a hundred year global history has been in Sri Lanka for over 40 years and has now been named the Number One unlisted brand in Sri Lanka in the 2013 edition of Brands Annual, compiled by Brand Finance and presented by Media Services.

The accolade is shared by each of J&J's brands which include Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, Listerine, Stayfree and Johnson's Baby, the only baby care product which has been clinically proven to be mild and gentle.

The rankings were determined by a consumer survey which was conducted by Brand Finance PLC, the world's leading brand valuation consultancy, which has performed thousands of branded business, brand and intangible asset valuations worth trillions of dollars. Johnson's Baby Sri Lanka launched its first completely local campaign in 2011 and continues to build on this initiative to date.

It went on to be awarded a Bronze at the Effies, that very same year, for its local campaign on "Celebrating the Joys of Motherhood". Johnson's Baby has been particularly active in the sphere of social media. Its Facebook page has over 54,000 fans, making it the current largest baby care product fan page in Sri Lanka.
