Unbeaten ton by Isuru Madushan

A unbeaten century in 161 balls with eight boundaries and a six by
right hand opening batsman H U Isuru Madushan helped Therapuththa
National School Ambalanthota register a first innings win against Ananda
Maithreeya Central College Balangoda. The under 19 division three match
was played at the UC grounds Hambanthota.
Ananda Maithriya batting first, endured 72 overs to score 163 runs.
Suresh Kodituwakku 5/49 and Udayan Hansana 4/12 shared the wickets. S
Gamage scored 54 runs. Therapuththa NS declared at 298/8 after Isuru
registered his ton.
Dasun Caldera scored 55 while S Gamage did well with the ball as well
capturing 4/67.
Right hand batsman D M P Gunasekera scored 103 runs off 120 balls
with 14 boundaries and three sixes in Ananda Maithriya's second innings
which stood at 170/6 at close of play.
