Ampittiakande Group fetches all time record tea price
Ampittiakande Group which is owned by Richard Pieris & Company
managed by Maskeliya Plantations PLC has established an all time record
price at the weekly Public Tea Auction held on January 22, 2013 by
securing a very attractive price of Rs.630 per kilo for a good liquoring
FBOP Grade.
This line of tea was purchased by Stassen Exports Limited and was
sold by the Tea Brokers, Eastern Brokers Limited. This estate is
situated in Bandarawela region in Uva District.
