Wasps attack school party: 42 injured

Forty two persons, including 27 schoolchildren and two Buddhist monks
were admitted to Ratnapura Hospital after they were attacked by wasps at
the Pothgul Vihara premises, Ratnapura on Sunday evening.
The group comprising students of Malawenna, Hikkaduwa Pannawansa
Dhamma School, six teachers, seven parents and two monks were on a trip
to Pothgul Vihara when one student had thrown a stone at a beehive
disturbing the wasps.
