Iraj teams up with Truth Hurts and Tony T

Sri Lanka's leading music producer and hip hop star Iraj Weeraratne is teaming up with Truth Hurts and Tony T (former frontman of R.I.O) for two separate projects which includes new tracks and videos.

Speaking to Colombo Gazette, Iraj said that he is currently shooting the video for the first track he did with Tony.T titled Your Love. The track also features Joe Flizzow. The third track Iraj and Tony.T have teamed up for is Just 1 click featuring Indira Joshi from Nepal, Markia and Infaas.

Iraj has also signed up with Tony.T to promote his digital content in Asia. Tony.T recently split from R.I.O after a successful run with the German band. Tony.T, was famous for the tracks 'After the love' 'Shine on' and 'Like I love you' while he was part of the band R.I.O.

Tony, who was in Sri Lanka last year with R.I.O, launched his own website www.tonyt.de recently and is all set to launch a new single. He will also be collaborating with several producers from around the world including IRAJ. Meanwhile Iraj is also shooting a music video with Truth Hurts (Shari Watson), the American artiste and music producer behind the song 'Addictive' which was once popular in most dance clubs in Sri Lanka.

Iraj is the first Sri Lankan music artist to have entered into the Kollywood Music Industry. His first South Indian composition together with Vijay Anthony featured in the movie Veittakarran starring Kollywood superstar Vijay. Dubbed by analysts and critics as a revolutionary of the Sri Lankan music industry, Iraj's success saw him drawn into a record breaking series of merchandising and marketing campaigns.

The change of Iraj's image from maestro to icon, has seen Sri Lanka experience a technological breakthrough in his many videos.
