Operators of Kerala was launched at the Tourist complex of Lake Gregory,
Nuwara Eliya by Indian Deputy High Commissioner for Sri Lanka K Nadaraja
recently.

ties between Sri Lanka and India. He said political, trade and commerce
wise, both these two nations continue to have close and friendly
relations and goodwill.
"After the end of the conflict in Sri Lanka, tourists from India and
other Western nations started visiting this country. They have been to
Colombo and the hill country, particularly the country's famous tourist
destination, Nuwara Eliya," he said.
He said it was most fitting that a new vista such as the House Boat
has been newly introduced in Nuwara Eliya while the country is in a
festive mood.
He said this was his first diplomatic assignment to this country and
noticed many similarities between Kerala and this part of Sri Lanka.
He said he hoped that the introduction of the House Boat to Lake
Gregory will be a boon in the promotion of tourism.

and the House Boat builders for the initiative taken by them towards the
development and promotion of tourism in the Nuwara Eliya district.
He thanked former Mayor Chandana Karunaratne and Deputy Mayor P
Chandrasekaran for their initiative towards this project during their
tenure of office.
Kerala Saj House Boat Builders spokesperson said that in Kerala there
