Sandalwood exporting racket busted Ridma DISSANAYAKE A team from Cinnamon Gardens Police busted a long-standing white sandalwood exporting racket on Thursday night with the arrest of the suspect at Hunupitiya, Wattala. The suspect was arrested in a special operation in the Wattala area. The Police detected a package containing 1,014 kilos of white sandalwood which was ready for export. Cinnamon Gardens Police are investigating.
