Child dies in tractor mishap

A two and half year old child died on the spot when he was knocked
down by a tractor at Bibile yesterday.
The child was knocked down at Perakum Mawatha, Radaliyadda in Bibile
around 7.45am yesterday.
The victim was identified as Dassanayake Mudiyanselage Ishan Imesh.
Police said the child had suddenly run onto the road and was knocked
down by the tractor. Bibile Police are investigating.
Meanwhile, a man died after the motorcycle he was riding, met with an
accident at Ward Place yesterday. |
