Vendol Lanka to begin VIP Radio
Vendol Lanka Co Ltd Chairman Dr. Lelwala G Godakanda has diversified
his business into a different sector by launching a new radio channel
titled VIP Radio from January 2012.
VIP Radio will reach listeners on FM 103.6 via its broadcasting
stations in Colombo, Matale and Deniyaya, covering the entire island
through the same hertz with powerful modern technology.
It will be broadcast by Means of stereo and Digital Technology to
make it more clearly to the listeners.
Very good sound combination methods will be employed in producing and
editing. Vendol Lanka Chairman Dr Lelwala G Godakanda in Weweldeniya has
been keeping the local and cultural values and free thoughts intent to
continue through VIP Radio.
VIP Channel expects to include good values recognized by Sri Lankan
nation, cultural values and indigenous knowledge of the nation as well
as modern international trends in its programmes Chairman Godakanda
said.
A series of programmes to develop the talents and to bring out the
talents and skills of farmers, fishermen, nurses, lawyers and employees
is scheduled. There a number of activities in process in order to
provide facilities to disclose the talents of drivers as well as
business community.
There are programmes to award the mothers who have contributed the
