Malimbada Sri Sumedha excels

Malimbada Sri Sumedha Maha Vidyalaya, a 1C grade school in the Akuressa Education Zone has students with exceptional skills. Students of this school have performed well at government examinations, such as GCE Ordinary Level, Advanced Level and Year 5 Scholarship over the years.

The school obtained the third place in the All Island Inter School Productivity Contest held in 2009 and second place in the Southern Province Productivity Contest.

The untiring efforts of the staff and Principal, U. Amara Ranjini were instrumental in these achievements.

The 1C grade school in the Akuressa Education Zone was adjudged the best managed school this year.
