Car will go for a Rs 4 million expansion to meet the emerging demands in
the travel and tourism industry.

The initial step was opening of a modern travel office at Galle Road
Colombo yesterday with unique facilities to their customers.
Rent-A-Car Managing Director Zakir Ahamed told Daily News Business
that with the modern facelift in Colombo, better services for future
tourists must also be updated and his company has done a series of
driver training programs for its service crew.
They are competent and capable of giving a positive picture about the
country to the visitors apart from good driving and English knowledge.
The second stage of the expansion will be promoting tourists from
Middle East countries.
The company is negotiating with Middle East countries and the number
of tourists coming from those countries are on the increase.
Rent-A-Car has created twenty new employment opportunities in the new
office for young people who speak Arabic and is planning to recruit two
Chinese employees shortly to promote bringing Chinese tourists to Sri
Lanka.
