The Polonnaruwa Rithara Cricket Club ladies team recorded a 9 wicket
victory over the Kalutara Town Club ladies team in their Division Two
cricket match organized by Sri Lanka Cricket and played yesterday at
Kalutara esplanade.
The Kalutara ladies won the toss and scored 80 runs all out in 24
overs. The Polonnaruwa Rithara CC ladies team in reply scored 81 for one
wicket in 14 overs with Madumali scoring 36 not out.
This was the first ever match of newly formed ladies cricket team of
Kalutara Town Club and the team was captained by Nilanka Perera. |
