ICASL seminar
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) will
conduct a seminar on Value Added Tax and Income Tax, which will in
detail articulate the recent amendments made to these taxes. The seminar
is scheduled to be held on April 8 at the ICASL Auditorium at Colombo 7.
Inland Revenue Department Deputy Commissioner General
H.B.A.Seneviratne, Fiscal Policy Department Senior Tax Advisor Dhammika
Gunathilaka and Inland Revenue Department, VAT Refund Unit Deputy
Commissioner B.A.D.D. Herath will be the speakers at the seminar.
The panellists will be Earnest and Young Partner Lakmali Nanayakkara,
KPMG Ford, Rhodes, Thornton and Co., Tax and Regulatory Principal Suresh
Perera, John Keells Holdings PLC, Group Tax Head, Vice President Nisreen
Rehmanjee and Aitken Spence and Co. Ltd., Chief Financial Officer,
Nilanthi Sivapragasam.
Registration will close on April 7 and will be on a first come first
