Regulator meets the insurance industry

The Insurance Board of Sri Lanka (IBSL), the regulator of the
insurance industry, met CEOs/MDs of Insurance Companies and the
Insurance Ombudsman at the Secretariat. IBSL Chairperson Indrani
Sugathadasa chaired the meeting.
Matters of mutual interest and market related issues were discussed
at the meeting relating to effective regulation and development of the
industry. This forum gave an opportunity to exchange views among
insurers and the regulator to take decisions after deliberating matters. |
