Unbeaten Air Force occupy top spot

Table leaders of the Dialog Champions League Sri Lanka Air Force will confront the defending champions Renown SC at City Football Complex today.

This encounter will sure to give the upper hand to the Airmen as their opponents have not lived up to expectation during this season while the Airmen hold an unbeaten record after the completion of six games. Air men have a total of 14 points from their completed six games which is only a single point away from the two teams following closely Police SC and Don Bosco SC. The game today will give the Airmen a chance to extend their lead.

Meanwhile the second placed teams Police and Don Bosco will not have things easy for them as they will be confronting New Youngs SC and Kalutara Park SC. The team from Kalutara is a team that created a major upset overcoming Saunders SC in an earlier game and is once again expected to give the same performance to keep the high riding Bosco strikers away.

Java Lane SC and Jupiters SC who are lying at the bottom of the table and will face each other this week end and the winner will collect the first points this season.
