Young Spikes 2010
Gearing up for Singapore:

Young spikes competition of young advertising professionals will take
place at the spike contest at Spike Asia 2010 from September 19 to the
21 in Singapore.
The Sri Lankan team of spikes brought home the silver medal last year
and this time they are planing to bring the gold medal to this country.
Thus the International Advertising Association's (IAA) Sri Lanka chapter
have teamed up to host this young spike contest for young advertising
professionals.
This year the competition saw a very large number of participants
with representation from nine agencies in the country nominating
contestants to complete the two titles.
This years program saw a lot more competition and energy of
enthusiasm. Thus selected two teams were guided to helped sharpening
their professionals ideas at the competition. They have been chosen out
of eleven integrated teams and eight media teams (with 38 participants)
from different leading agencies in the country. The winning mentors have
the opportunity to attend the Spikes Asia Festival. Rangan Gopi Krishna
and Udara Hettiarachchi - the winners of the Media competition and
Ahamad Reshan and Asela De Silva - the winners of the Integrated
competition will be participating in this year's competition.
This proves an opportunity to develop this talent to be on par with
world class standards for the young Sri Lankan advertising
professionals.
