Program for coaches in Central Province

Over a hundred cricket coaches of Sri Lanka Cricket from the districts of Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Kegalle in the Central Province will undergo a cricket coach education program. This will update their information which will in turn reach a larger area when they get back to their schools. The program gets underway at Kingswood College ground, Kandy today at 9 a.m. and will be continued on tomorrow too.

This cricket education program will be conducted by the following coaching committee of the Sri Lanka Cricket: Anusha Samaranayake (Fast Bowling Coach), Piyal Wijetunga (Spin Bowling Cough), Sumithra Warnakulasuriya (SSIC Academy Coach), Manoj Abeykoon (Fielding Coach), J. C. Gamage (Coach Educator), Heshan de Mel - (Coach Educator), Jerome Jayaratne - Head of Coaching, Malcolm Perera - Manager Coaching SLC.

In addition to this there will be a spin talent search program at the Asgiriya Stadium from 9 a.m. onwards and also a fast bowling talent search program at Police Ground on Tuesday at 9 a.m.
