Seylan Bank women win

Seylan Bank emerged champions in the Delmege Super League Womens 'A' Division Basketball tournament, beating Hatton National Bank 72 points to 58 in the final played at Otter's Courts yesterday.

The winners were in the lead by 34 points to 26 at half time.

Premila Fernando was the top scorer for the winning team with 19 points Inoka Sandamali (16) while Sanduni Bollegala and Benika Thalagala collected 11 points each.

Kumarin Silva (15), Rupika Wickkramasuriya (10) and Anjalee Ekanayake (11) made valuable contributions for the losers.

Ceylinco Insurance Company clinched the Delmege Super League Men's 'E' Division championship beating NDB Bank 67 points to 60 played at the same venue. Ceylinco Insurance Co. was in the lead 32 points 21 at half time.

Delan Chameera and Rukmal Indika scored 18 points each and Brayan Fernando and Krishan Chamara Collected 10 points each for the winning team.

Shaleen Fernando (21) and Eranga Sameera (13) scored for NDB.
