New publishing and distribution partnership
Stone Hill Foundation Publishing (Pvt.) Ltd. (SHFP), Cochin, Kerala,
India, and L&A publishing (L&A), Colombo, Sri Lanka, entered in to a
partnership in book distribution and publishing, starting with the
distribution of SHFP's books in the territory of Sri Lanka by L&A.
SHFP is a leading international publisher that offers outstanding
nonsectarian books on the subjects of body/mind/spirit, non-duality,
ecology and ecospirituality, consciousness studies, modern spiritual
teachings, science/new science, science-spirituality interaction, the
emerging new paradigms in spirituality and the wisdom traditions of the
world through its imprints Editions India, Arunachala Press, Festival
Books and One Word Press.
Founded four years ago by publishing professionals with combined
international publishing experience of over 80 years, SHFP publishes 40
to 60 titles a year, and is now well-known enough internationally that
authors from all over the world send their books to SHFP for original
publication under its imprints.
L&A was founded over a year ago by Ajitsingham Balasingham and
Lasangi Bodaragama, professionals in the printing and publishing fields.
It is a full-fledged publishing house committed to producing
high-quality pictorial books and providing total publishing solutions
for authors and publishers. L&A possesses knowledge and expertise on the
printing, publishing and distribution fields in Sri Lanka, and aims at
bringing together writers, editors, and photographers in the subject
areas of art, architecture, design, photography, travels, fashion and
lifestyle, archaeology, history, and spirituality to publish illustrated
books in Asia.
L&A is now engaged in creating a strong distribution network to
support their partner publisher SHFP.
SHFP's original titles are distributed in the US, Canada, the UK,
Europe, Australia and New Zealand, Southeast Asia, West Asia, South
Africa and South America.
The partnership between SHFP and L&A aims at harnessing the strengths
of the two publishers to distribute SHFP titles in Sri Lanka and to
co-publish books for the international market from Sri Lanka.
