Jaffna Education Fair in September

The first ever large scale education exhibition Jaffna Education Fair (JEF) organized by Pico Events will be held from September 15 to16 at the Jaffna Central College.

This event will showcase exhibitors who will provide students of the North the opportunity to advance their studies by obtaining internationally recognized qualifications within the country and overseas.

The event is focused on an exhibitor profile that includes Local and International Educational Institutes and their representatives, Foreign university representatives, local university representatives and book publishers.

During this event prospective students will also be provided with advice and counselling on selecting relevant fields of study and career guidance, in addition to visa requirements and procedures and all other relevant information required to carry out study overseas.

JEF will create the opportunity of potential business partnerships for exhibitors in Jaffna, apart from the vast student population that they will have one-on-one encounters with.

"Jaffna is an area that we have been earmarking for quite some time and finally our plans have materialized.

Jaffna Education Fair is presented in co-ordination with the Director of Education Jaffna.

We have already received good response from universities in Australia and India " said Asst General Manager of Pico Events Emile Gunesekera. JEF will be the link to educational institutes, with the vast student population of Jaffna.

It is a market that many educational institutes need to spread their wings.
