The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) the premier Industrial Chamber in Sri Lanka and its Voice of Industry wishes all your readers, our members and the Industrial Community the compliments of the season and a happy and prosperous New Year.

"We hope that the New Year which dawns on a spirit of goodwill all round and especially towards the new government will usher in a new era of peace where the ethic of violence will lie dormant hereafter and economic development will flower with the vision of bounty to come."

"We who are the flag bearers of industry hope that an urgent policy of industrial and energy development will see its light of day early in the New Year. Our vision is also for the strengthening of the small and medium industrial sector and the rural industrial sector and hope that the country will give high priority to accelerating the growth of these areas.

Industrial peace is also an urgent necessity and with the atmosphere of hope that prevails, we expect to see a Sri Lanka united at all levels with the dawn of the New Year.
