The new government is committed to attain those objectives under the leadership of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, he said. The Minister thanked his voters in the Colombo district for ensuring his victory at the recent general election and assured that the government would embark upon several projects that would render maximum benefit to the people. He predicted that a new economic era would dawn upon the country soon. Urban Development and Public Utilities Minister, Mohamed Mahroof said as in Colombo town, the problem of housing, electricity, water, surface drainage system etc., have affected Kolonnawa electorate as well, My sole objective is to seek solutions to these outstanding public needs.
