The Mini Rugby Coaching Camp and Tournament for boys between 9 to 15 years will be held on December 18 and 19 at Wesley College grounds, Borella.

The main organisers of this camp and tournament are N.J. Mudannayaka/Co-ordinator of Western Province Basil Rodrigo/Chief Technical Officer Western Province Rugby Football Union.

More than 1,000 children from Gampaha and Colombo District will be participating in the tournament. It has been organised by the Western Province Rugby Football Union in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union.

This coaching camp will be conducted on the instructions of Arjun Dharmadasa, Chairman Development Committee of Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union and Shane Dullewa, Secretary SLRFU has come forward to support this coaching camp.

The chief guest will be Capt. Harsha Mayadunne, President of the SLRFU. The Championship Cup will be presented on the final day along with the plate, bowl for the second and third placed teams.

A team from Wayamba will be in action for this first ever tournament.
