Ramnarine and Garrick to return home ST JOHN'S, Antigua, Wednesday (Reuters) - West Indies opening batsman Leon Garrick will return home from the tour of Sri Lanka because of a potentially serious heart ailment, the Caribbean News Agency (CANA) reported. A statement from the West Indies Cricket Board's public relations firm on Tuesday said Garrick had been diagnosed with sick sinus syndrome after complaining of chest pains and shortness of breath. Leg-spinner Dinanath Ramnarine will also return home early after tearing a muscle in his left side. West Indies, who lost the test series 3-0, will take part in a triangular one-day series with Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe starting on Saturday. |
