Asanka Sisira Kumara, son of Kurunegala District PA candidate R.P. Wimaladasa, was shot dead yesterday afternoon by an unidentified gang.

The shooting occurred near a PA rally held in Morathiha, Rambadagalla. Six persons injured in the shooting were rushed to the Kurunegala hospital. Rambadagalla police are investigating.
