No clear vision During the last Presidential election campaign Ranil Wickremesinghe promised gold bracelets, jeans and chewing gum and at this campaign he promised to export Appuhamy's vegetables to Tokyo and Dingiri Banda's fruits to Dubai. Except these two, other farmers will not cast their votes in favour of UNP because they are not allowed to export their fruits and vegetables. Eleven elections were lost due to this type of irresponsible, mockery promises. It is the general feeling of the voters that the UNP has no clear vision to develop the country.
