No reactionary and unscrupulous elements can deter the PA's victory at this election, added Bandaranaike. Answering a journalist Bandaranaike said PA which had a majority of seats in Gampaha District will prove its victory on December 5th by winning two more seats. "Reasonable thinking people in the country condemned the attempt of certain elements to topple a democratically elected government. "They are well aware the conspiracy planned against the government by the power hunting reactionary groups to capture power ignoring the people's mandate. "Therefore the people of the country are awaiting to ensure the PA's victory. No political party can mislead the people because they are politically advanced," Bandaranaike added. |
