Le Ecole Computer Systems (Pvt) Ltd goes to Kandana . . . Le Ecole Computer Systems (Pvt) Ltd opens its 1st branch at Kandana on November 22. The new branch will have a fully equipped computer laboratory and lecture facilities to train future IT professionals. Le Ecole Computer Systems (Pvt) Ltd was started in 1993 to train people for future requirements in IT field and since then it has been able to earn a name as a leading institute that produces high quality IT professionals, Chairman J. A. G. Jayasinghe said. It is an approved institute by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC), Council for Information Technology (CINTEC), British Computer Society (BCS), Australian Computer Society (ACS) and National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA). In addition, the institute conducts lectures for BIT (Bachelor of Information Technology) to prepare students for newly introduced degree program by University of Colombo. It also has a wide range of other IT training programs to suit schoolchildren, school leavers, employed adults, professionals and kids. The programs include Multimedia Web developing, Oracle, JAVA, UML, CGI, UNIX and NT. The teaching faculty consists of university lecturers including several PhDs, business managers and professionals of the IT field. The high pass rates obtained by the students of the institute at the public examinations is a tribute to the dedicated and competent teaching faculty. In addition to the academic and training facilities, Le Ecole is engaged in importing and marketing computers and related products, developing application software, maintenance of hardware, data entry services, Internet and E-mail services, Web designing and hosting, networking and cabling, and consultancy services.
