High ranking business magnets bought over PA MPs -Ronnie

by Matara Special and Devinuwara Special

The conspiratorially crooked strategy of buying PA MPs and Ministers by giving millions of rupees is being led by a high ranking business institution and the LTTE gives millions of rupees for this organisation, Trade, Industrial Development and Rural Industrial Development Minister, Ronnie De Mel said.

He was addressing a meeting held at the Devinuwara Sacred City to support the only PA female candidate in the Matara district, Mallika de Mel. He said that the conspiratorial strategy jointly implemented by the LTTE and the UNP is not a secret to the people. The period of office of President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga cannot be changed before the relevant period and it is a big lie if someone says so.

The Minister said that the PA will win the election despite any obstacles and that the people will give the ideal answer to the persons who crossed over on December 5th. Ms. De Mel decided to contest responding to invitations of the President and the PA Matara District team leader Minister Mangala Samaraweera. The PA will win the Matara District with five or six MPs.

Devinuwara Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman, Aruna Gunaratne, Akuressa PS Chairman, Munidasa Gamage, Dikwella PS Vice Chairman, Kithsara Muthukumarana, Kamburupitiya PS Chairman, Bindu Wijaya Weerasinghe, Dikwella PS member C. D. Samarasekara, Devinuwara PS Vice Chairman, P. K. Rathnasiri also spoke.
