The luxury bus transporting UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe and his entourage including the press corp (not Lake House) hit a snag on the Rambukkana-Mawanella Road due to an underpass (Road tunnel) not being able to take in the oversized vehicle.

Mr. Wickremesinghe and company were proceeding for lunch at the home of former MP Kabir Hashim in Mawanella when the motorcade had to be stopped near Kadigamuwa on the Rambukkana-Mawanella Road.

The leader and entourage were forced to disembark and proceed on their journey in smaller vehicles while the luxury bus went into reverse gear to proceed towards Rambukkana.
