JVP bankrupt of new ideas - Champika Ranawaka

Every vote for the JVP is a vote for the PA. Now the JVP is like a constituent party of the PA.

The JVP will not hesitate to form a Probationary Government after December 5 with the PA. Therefore, people will decide the future the JVP on December 5.

The JVP is today bankrupt of new ideas as the leaders do not have creative ideas. They only hang on tags of the PA and the UNP.

They only know how to rob ideas from other parties. For instance they stole the issue of four independent Commissions from the UNP bag and boasts as if they were the masters of it.

We don't have joint accounts with the supporters of powerful Ministers. We don't have blessing of the Ministers. We do not get funds from abroad.

In a way we can claim that the JVP is like the LTTE's shadow. The LTTE led Tamil Party Alliance in the North and East will support the UNP to come into power while the JVP will indirectly support the PA to form a Government again.

It is `Sihala Karumaya' today - Sunil Handunnetti

Sihala Urumaya has become the `Sihala Karumaya' today. They will not have any political future after December 5 and will end up in the political dustbin.

They are facilitating the LTTE to win their separate State by spreading communal hatred among Sinhalese and Tamils in the South. Communal harmony among Tamils, Sinhalese and Muslims is the main obstacle for the LTTE to fulfil their political objectives.

"The Sihala Urumaya is doing this task on LTTE's behalf in a more organised and clandestine way. It is clearly evident by their behaviour.

The LTTE made a sucessfull attempt to disunite Sinhalese and Tamils after 1983 black July. Then they attacked Dalada Maligawa to provoke Sinhalese, but the Sinhalese did not get caught to that trap. Now the LTTE use the Sihala Urumaya as a cats paw to inculcate hatred in Sinhalese against Tamils."

But so far they could not fulfil their ulterior motives. They try to divide the people on ethnic grounds. Sihala Urumaya is a party which is full of cronies. They have already lost the party's foundation in village level. They will realise their real position after December 5.
