A.V.D. Perera alias Beddegane Sanjeewa was shot dead yesterday, Mirihana police said.

A gunman, who was inside his vehicle opened fire at Sanjeewa who was at the wheel, police said.

The incident occurred in Pagoda Road, Nugegoda last evening.
