Towards this end he summoned a meeting of former parliamentarians, provincial councillors, pradesiya saba members as well as prominent Muslim leaders in his house and sought their views. The Minister also has requested authorities to make provision for payments of festival advance and salary for Muslim public servants, well in time to facilitate festival arrangements, since it also coincides with the approach of another festival season, X'mas and the New year.
