TULF, ACTC. TELO taken to task The EPDP's MP for Jaffna S. Sivadasan yesterday came out strongly against the TULF, ACTC and TELO for their walking out of the Chamber of the House when the debate on the 17th Amendment was taken up. Parliamentarians of Jaffna do not represent the cause of the people who elected them, but the interests of those seeking to overthrow the government, he told the Daily News. "No other party had criticised the Government as much as the JVP. Yet they were able to reach a Memorandum of Understanding with the People's Alliance", he said. Politicians who run away from national problems at the last moment had better stay away from politics altogether, he said.
