Lankan delegation for Hong Kong jewellery fair The National Gem and Jewellery Authority (NGJA) with the assistance of the Sri Lankan Consulate in Hong Kong will organise a Sri Lanka Pavilion at the Hong Kong Jewellery and Watch Fair from September 21 to 25. This event is considered the single, biggest display of gemstones, fine finished jewellery, diamonds and pearls in Asia, an NGJA official said. This year's Fair is expected to attract 1,700 exhibitors from 45 countries and 30,000 visitors from over 100 countries. The Sri Lankan delegation consists of representatives from Wijaya Gems (Pvt) Ltd, Precision Lapidaries (Pvt) Ltd, Deepthi Jewellery, Engelo Gems, Blue Duke International (Pvt) Ltd, Jayakody Gems (Pvt) Ltd, Key Gems, Collectors Counts, Gems Chamber- Gem Bank and Ohoseki Gems, Lapidary and Jewellery. The Sri Lanka Pavilion will have an information desk headed by an official of the NGJA who is assigned to promote gem and jewellery exports and other Sri Lankan products during the Fair. |
