Flower, Masakadza stand firm for Zim HARARE, Monday (Reuters) - Zimbabwe's Andy Flower and Hamilton Masakadza fought to make South Africa bat again in the first test as they put on another 91 runs in a determined fourth-wicket stand in the morning session on Monday. After resuming at 97-3 the home side moved on to 188 at lunch on the fourth day. Flower was 89 not out off 175 balls including 11 fours, while Masakadza was unbeaten on 74 off 204 deliveries with 12 boundaries. Zimbabwe, who replied to South Africa's first innings of 600 for three declared with 286 and were asked to follow on, need 314 to make South Africa bat again. Flower and Masakadza's unbroken fourth-wicket stand of 163 is the first century partnership by Zimbabwe in the four tests they have played against South Africa.
