S.A. sports minister to Australia: 'We'll murder you' HARARE, Sunday (Reuters) - South Africa sports minister Ngconde Balfour threw down the gauntlet to Australia's world champion cricketers at the Harare Sports Club on Sunday. "I think we are going to do very well against Australia with the depth of talent we (South Africa) have," Balfour said in a television interview. Balfour, who has been watching South Africa dominate the first test of two against Zimbabwe, was referring to the home-and-away series involving World Cup champions Australia and South Africa between December and April next year. "Come here Australia - we are going to murder you," he challenged. Balfour said he had come to Zimbabwe to ease the fears of South Africans who questioned whether the two-test series should go ahead in a country overshadowed by political violence. "I can assure South Africans that we are sitting here with thousands of Zimbabweans and we are enjoying the match," Balfour said.
